I have fond memories of this album from my childhood. I remember my mother trying to hide the album cover because it was so racy for the times(at least in So. LA). But the folks did play it often. The music is still great. It sound as wonderful today as it did forty years ago. It stands the test of time.

I havent listened to this, but I looked at the song list and...why buy this? Actually, if you want a little bit of Coldplay for a small price, and you're just getting into COldplay, then get this. If you're already a Coldplay fan like me, you already have Parachutes and maybe Brothers and Sisters. (I have it; it's great!) So, if you're just getting to know this band, get this CD. For the rest of us, there's no reason to buy this except maybe for the extremely hardcore fan that would want the live version of In My Place for six dollars.

I know I really should be hating Coldplay for invading rock with blandness etc etc as a rock fan but I really cannot critisise such a heartbreakingly beautiful melody as this. I love to listen to it on lo-fi tape, extra bass, loud and relaxing at night time. It can carry you off into another world. Trouble is destined to become a future classic.
